Biography

Born in Cleethorpes, a small seaside town on the North East coast of England, Rob spent his early adulthood as a Medic in the Royal Navy. On leaving the service, he spent the next few years in several different business ventures in the UK and Europe, eventually returning to Cleethorpes in the early 90’s, where he set up several successful furniture companies.

In the mid 90’s he and a friend went on holiday to Thailand. Falling in love with the country, he decided to sell his assets and set up business there. Whilst living on an island he decided to write a novel and discovered that he enjoyed storytelling. Getting caught in the 2006 tsunami and various law changes in Thailand, he decided to branch further afield and tried Cambodia.

Rob now lives happily in Sihanoukville, Cambodia and fortunately became a partner in two successful beach resorts where he added four more books "Chalice", "Bimat", "Trilogy", and "PATH" and a screenplay "Siam Storm", (based on the Buddha’s Tooth) to his list of achievements.

Outside of writing he also enjoys scuba diving and snorkeling in the warm waters infront of 'Coasters Resort' and around the Cambodian islands and gets his inspiration from his idyllic lifestyle and the interesting characters he comes across.

Robs first novel, Buddha's Tooth, received wide acclaim throughout asia and is now on worldwide release through Amazon, Lulu, Barnes & Noble and Monument Books etc. and can be downloaded through Apple and Kindle. The little bugger has also wangled his way into several airport bookshops.

Although he resembles a turquoise ninja turtle, he insists he has been mistaken for Brad Pitt on several occasions, (or was it his brother cesspit), and why have 6 pack abs when you can have a full keg. In addition, he also states he is in shape (round is a shape)!

Yes, he is bonkers!
